Opening a EUDF Italy event, MEP Marino spoke about the importance of prevention, equality and research. He referred to his experience from his surgical practice, where he has seen first-hand the serious consequences of diabetes if it is not managed properly. He endorsed the diabetes community pledge and stressed his commitment to working for health and diabetes in the European Parliament.
